Developed by the Google team, Google Calendar Sync allows you to seamlessly sync events between your Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook calendar. This synchronization can be set up in various ways: one-way from Google to Outlook, one-way from Outlook to Google, or two-way between both platforms.
During the installation process of Google Calendar Sync, you will need to close Microsoft Outlook and provide your Google account username and password. Once this information is entered, you are ready to start syncing. The software displays an icon on the system tray, although it may not provide much information, and you can customize the synchronization period. Additionally, events can be edited within Google Calendar's web interface.
Unfortunately, shared calendar events may not sync successfully, as the tool seems to only work with personal calendars. Nevertheless, Google Calendar Sync remains a useful tool to keep both Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar in sync seamlessly.
